Uttar Pradesh: A shocking news has emerged from Ayodhya in UP. Where a case has been registered regarding the theft of the statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Ever since the theft of the statue, a lot of anger is being seen in the Dalit class there. The incident is of Mawai police station area of Ayodhya. Where Baba Saheb’s statue was installed 20 years ago. As soon as the police came to know about the incident on Monday, the police immediately started investigating it.
CO Rudauli, Satendra Bhushan Tiwari told that a man named Kailash Gautam informed the police about the missing statue. Along with this, he told the police that Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s park is going to be built with public cooperation on the allotted land near Mavai. In the morning when people reached there to worship, they saw that the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar was missing. Since then, the movement in the area intensified.

Police engaged in investigation
The information about the theft of Baba Saheb’s idol spread rapidly in the village. After getting information about the incident, the people of Dalit community gathered on the spot. He has expressed the possibility of involvement of chaotic elements in this incident. Taking the complaint seriously, the police have registered a case and started further action. Police said that the Dalit community has demanded land leveling and roof over the closet. At the same time, the police is also questioning the villagers in this matter. Police has assured the people of Dalit community that the theft will be caught soon. Along with this, the police has also appealed to the people of the society to maintain peace.
