On which more than 13 cases including murder, robbery, dacoity were registered in Sultanpur. He was counted among the famous miscreants of Uttar Pradesh. Seeing its fear, the police had declared a reward of Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand. The police had received information about Gufran’s hiding in Kaushambi. After this, the police reached there and started searching for Gufran. Meanwhile, an encounter started between the police and the miscreants in the Samada area of Kaushambi Police Station Kotwali. During this there was continuous firing from both the sides. In this, the vicious scoundrel Gufran of Pratapgarh got shot. After this he was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment, where doctors declared Gufran brought dead.
According to the information, after the news of a robbery at a place in Pratapgarh on April 24, the police checked the CCTV footage installed there and it was seen that Gufaan was also involved in it. Since then many police teams were engaged in its search. It is being told that a reward of one lakh was also declared on Gufran by ADG Zone Prayagraj. Police recovered a carbine from the spot.
