Bareilly Fire: A massive fire broke out at the Ashoka Foam Factory located at Faridpur in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. In this incident, 4 laborers were burnt alive and many were seriously injured. The injured laborers have been admitted to the nearest hospital, out of which the condition of 3 is said to be critical. One laborer is still missing. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Relief and rescue work is going on at the spot.

According to media reports, Ashoka Foam Factory located in Megwal village of Faridpur police station area of Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh caught fire after a blast at around 7 pm on Wednesday evening, causing a lot of chaos in the factory. In the accident, 4 laborers were burnt alive and many were seriously injured. All the injured are undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. Around 150 laborers were working in the factory at the time of the accident. After getting the information, about 12 vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot. After a lot of effort, the fire could be controlled.

Relief and rescue operations being carried out by NDRF
Two people have been identified among the dead, including Hargizpur resident Arvind Mishra and Sarkada resident Rakesh Kumar. The identity of the two dead is yet to be ascertained. The condition of Karanpur resident Deshraj, Z village resident Bablu and Jitendra is said to be serious. Till the information is received, relief and rescue work is being done by the NDRF team at the spot.
