A painful news is coming out from Meerut. Here, on Friday afternoon, near the DPS school of Daurala, the cold storage lenter got grounded. After the fall of this lenter, more than 20 laborers got buried under the debris. About 7 people have died in the accident. Ammonia leakage had also started in the cold storage.
Relief and rescue work going on
As soon as this lantern got grounded, the people around came out of their houses and informed the police and administration about it. After this, the police-administration reached the spot without delay and the NDRF team was also called. The NDRF team started the relief and rescue work and started evacuating the trapped laborers. So far, about 11 laborers have been pulled out of the debris. Along with this, 11 ambulances have also been deployed on the spot. Which is working to take the injured to the hospital in Meerut. The fire brigade team has also been deployed for relief and rescue work.

However, officials say that after this accident, some laborers even ran away after saving their lives. Along with this, an inquiry committee has been formed regarding this incident.
