Punjab cabinet reshuffle: There has been a major reshuffle in the Punjab cabinet on Wednesday. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took back the portfolios of Urban Development and Information and Broadcasting from Minister Aman Arora. After this, CM Bhagwant Mann will now keep the Housing and Urban Development Department with himself. In return, the government has entrusted the responsibility of Administrative Reforms Department to Aman Arora. After this, now Aman Arora will have the responsibility of four departments.
At the same time, the Food Processing Department has been withdrawn from Minister Chetan Singh Jodamajra. Now this department will be with Laljit Singh Bhullar. Chetan Singh Jodamajra has been entrusted with the Information and Broadcasting Department. Along with this, the Department of Managerial Reforms has been withdrawn from Minister Meet Hair and handed over to Aman Arora.

Apart from this, the Mann government has assigned special portfolios to three other ministers, including the names of Gurmeet Meet Hair, Laljit Bhullar and Chetan Singh Jodmajra.

At the same time, now after this change, Punjab’s CM Bhagwant Mann has General Administration, Home Ministry, Vigilance, Cooperative, Industry and Commerce, Jail, Legal Affairs, Civil Aviation, Urban Development Department. Along with this, Minister Aman Arora has the Department of New Energy Resources, Printing and Stationery, Governance Reform Employment Generation. Gurmeet Singh Meet Hair has water resources, mines, science and technology, environment, sports and youth affairs, while Laljit Bhullar has transport, animal husbandry, food processing, Chetan Singh Jodmajra has defense service welfare, freedom fighter, horticulture, information and public Relations department. Whereas, Anmol Gagan Mann will now have tourism and culture, investment promotion, labor and hospitality departments.
