In Punjab’s Gurdaspur, soldiers of the Border Security Force (BSF)’s Adiyan post fired at a Pakistani drone entering the Indian border on Wednesday night. The incident was informed to the higher officials.

Top officials said that the Border Security Force personnel had heard the sound of a drone on Wednesday night. After this, the BSF jawans started firing at the drone. However, that drone was driven back into the border of Pakistan. At the same time, top officials told that a search operation is being conducted to see if some intoxicant was dropped from this Pakistani drone.

At the same time, on Wednesday also, a drone from Pakistan fell in the field near the Attari-Wagah border of Amritsar. This drone fell near the machine harvesting wheat in Mahava Village near the border. On seeing this drone, people working in the field informed the police and BSF officials about it. As soon as the information was received, the police and BSF officials took possession of the drone. At the same time, it is being searched that what was its purpose and whether it dropped any intoxicant in India.

Even before this, heroin was dropped from a drone near Toor village in Punjab’s Amritsar district last month, but this heroin was taken into custody by the BSF jawans. Speaking on the matter, BSF officials said that 6.275 kg of heroin has been seized from near Toor village in Amritsar district. The heroin was dropped there with the help of a drone, but BSF personnel spotted it and seized it. Apart from this, an unregistered motorbike was also seized by BSF personnel from the area.
