High alert has been issued in entire Punjab regarding Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh. In search of the fugitive Amritpal, the Punjab Police is vigorously conducting a search operation. Internet service has been suspended in entire Punjab for the last two days. However, till now the police have not been able to arrest Amritpal. His search is still on. The police have so far arrested 114 supporters of Amritpal. Meanwhile, Amritpal’s uncle Harjit Singh and driver Harpreet Singh have also surrendered themselves to the police. The news is coming that Amritpal’s uncle and driver appeared before the police on Saturday midnight. Both had come to surrender in Amritpal’s Mercedes car. The police have also seized the car.

Amritpal may surrender soon

According to media reports, Amritpal along with his driver and uncle fled in the same Mercedes car on Saturday. After this the driver and uncle have now surrendered themselves. S 32 bore revolver and one lakh rupees have been recovered from uncle Harjeet Singh. It is being speculated that soon Amritpal may also surrender himself to the police. A DIG level officer is constantly negotiating with his uncle for the surrender of Amritpal. Last day Amritpal’s father, while talking to media persons, had expressed apprehension of Amritpal’s encounter. He had said that the action of the police is wrong, in such a situation anything can happen to my son.

Major police action continues in Punjab

In this operation, police have recovered 7 illegal weapons, more than 300 bullets, 3 vehicles. Apart from this, Amritpal’s link with Pakistan-ISI also came to the fore.
