Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh has been arrested by the Punjab Police in the early hours of Sunday from Rodewal Gurdwara in Moga, Punjab. The Punjab Police was informed by a priest of the Gurdwara that Amritpal Singh had taken shelter in the Gurdwara of Moga. The specialty of Assam’s Dibrugarh Jail

Seven people associated with Amritpal Singh’s organization Waris Punjab De have been sent to the Central Jail in Dibrugarh, Assam after NSA was imposed. Amripal Singh is also being taken there via aircraft. The jail at Dibrugarh in the state of Assam in North-East India was built by the British Government in the year 1859-60. This jail is about 166 years old. Dibrugarh Jail was built to keep the Indians who participated in the freedom struggle before the independence of the country.
