Bhopal. A woman committed suicide by hanging herself in eleven hundred quarters located in Habibganj police station area. A suicide note has been found from her, in which she has told the reason for the suicide to her husband. She has written about her husband having affair with other women. Police have recovered the suicide note and started investigation.
SI Sudil Deshmukh told that Ranu Kudopa’s husband Ramgopal Kudopa (30) lived in eleven hundred quarters. She was married in the year 2017 to Ramgopal Kudopa, a resident of Mata Mandir area. Ranu and Ramgopal have a six year old son. There was a rift between husband and wife for a few days. Due to the rift, Ranu’s younger brother Durgesh Irpache brought her to her maternal home fifteen days back.
Durgesh told the police that on Sunday night all the people had slept in their respective rooms after having dinner. When the sister woke up at around four in the morning, Ranu was sleeping in her room. At around seven in the morning, Durgesh’s younger sister Premkumari was going towards the bathroom. During this, he saw Ranu hanging on the noose with the help of a dupatta. Hearing Premkumari’s screams, the family members woke up and took Ranu down from the trap. After this the ambulance was informed. The ambulance team that reached the information declared Ranu dead in the preliminary investigation.
Relationship with women told by husband in suicide note
Police has received a suicide from Ranu Kudopa. In the suicide note, she has written for her husband that I cannot see you with anyone else. He had written that after my death my last rites should be performed by my father. My dead body should not be handed over to the husband. Apart from this, he also wrote that after death my six year old son should not be given to the husband. Police told that Ranu’s father is a government employee and these days drives a minister’s car. The family has also accused the husband of torturing her. Police say that the dead body has been handed over to the family members after the PM. Police is investigating on the basis of suicide note.
