Bhopal. A dumper coming from Ratibad hit the brother-in-law, sister-in-law and niece sitting behind, near Sharda School located in Ratibadh police station area. The brother-in-law died on the spot after being dragged for some distance after the collision. One of his legs was badly amputated, while his sister-in-law and niece were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, where the sister-in-law was declared brought dead shortly after. ASI KP Singh said that Dhan Singh’s father Prahlad Singh (37) lived at a distance of about 200 meters from the spot. On Monday morning at around 6.15 am, he was trying to reach the divider from the wrong side. She was accompanied by sister-in-law Pushpabai husband Narayan Singh (38) and niece Preeti (19) on the bike behind. Pushpabai and Preeti do private work in the school. Prahlad had to go to his work after dropping them off at school.

After reporting the accident, the local people informed Dial 100 and the ambulance. Earlier, Pushpa Bai and Preeti were taken to the hospital in a loading vehicle. Pushpa Bai died there. Here Dhan Singh died on the spot due to excessive bleeding.

Family and villagers created ruckus

After the accident, the relatives and villagers who reached the spot created a ruckus on the road. During this, queues of vehicles also started. The police reached the information and gave advice to the family and the villagers. Only after this his anger could be pacified. Police recovered the dumper and started searching for the accused driver. The dumper from which the accident took place was filled with copra.
