Ujjain:Every day lakhs of devotees reach Ujjain, the city of Mahadev, to have darshan of Baba. Devotees have so much faith in Mahadev that devotees keep waiting in his court since morning. Due to which the temple complex becomes more crowded. Seeing this, the devotees can easily get Mahakal darshan. For this, a 250 meter long tunnel is being built in Ujjain. Through which 8 to 10 lakh devotees will be able to take the blessings of Mahadev every day. Which will be inaugurated by CM Shivraj on 05 October.

More than 700 CCTV rooms will be installed

Along with this, let us tell you that a 250 meter long tunnel has been built in the temple premises which will open directly on the right side of the sanctum sanctorum. Devotees will be able to come for darshan through this tunnel during festivals and Simhastha. Arrangements for darshan of Mahakal will be made through a total of 30 lines and easily eight to ten lakh people will be able to visit the temple. Along with this, more than 700 CCTV rooms will be installed at various places. Along with this, let us tell you that under the second phase of “Shri Mahakal Mahalok Corridor”, preparations are being made at a cost of Rs 242.35 crore. These include the development works of Neelkanth area, Shaktipath, Anna area, Maharajwada complex and Chhota Rudrasagar, which are being finalized.

Restaurant also ready at a cost of Rs 20 crore

Regarding the gift being given to Ujjain, Collector Kumar Purushottam said that the preparations for the second phase of Mahakal Lok are complete, we have done the work in the temple keeping in mind the future needs. The parking capacity at Mahakal Lok has been increased and the entry of devotees from Triveni Gate has been facilitated. A bridge is also being built across Rudra Sagar, although its construction has not been completed. Anubhuti Van and Tapovan have also been constructed. Apart from this, an old school has been converted into a heritage hotel. In the second phase of Mahakal Lok, a food hall has also been prepared at a cost of Rs 20 crore. In which three thousand people will be able to eat together and there will be arrangements for food for one lakh people throughout the day. Annakshetra will be free for devotees. Dal Baffle can also be made once a month in Annakshetra.
