ujjain: Preparations have started for the royal procession of Baba Mahakal which will leave on Monday in the religious city of Ujjain. Like every time, this time too a large number of devotees will participate in the ride. Let us tell you that tomorrow i.e. on 11th September, the last ride of Mahakal will be taken out. Due to which the crowd of devotees in the temple is likely to be more than before. In view of this, Collector Kumar Purushottam and Superintendent of Police Sachin Sharma held a meeting on Saturday in the meeting room of the Police Control Room regarding the arrangements for the royal ride. Many important topics were also discussed during this period.
8 rides in the month of Shravan and 2 in Bhadon
The royal ride will be the last on 11th September, hence on this day a large number of devotees will reach Ujjain to enjoy the ride of Mahakal and take the holy benefits by joining Baba’s ride. After this the devotee will have to wait for a year again to see the ride again. This time in Ujjain, 8 rides of Mahakal Baba took place in the month of Shravan and 2 in Bhadon.
Mahakaal will give darshan to devotees in these forms
Let us tell you that during the last journey, Baba Mahakal will appear to the devotees in 10 forms. During this, Shri Chandramouleshwar in the silver palanquin, Shri Manmahesh on the elephant, Shivtandav on the Garuda chariot, Uma-Mahesh on the Nandi chariot and Mukharvind of Holkar State on the Dol chariot, Shri Ghatatop Mukhota, Shri Jatashankar on the chariot, Shri Rudreshwar Swarup, Shri Chandrashekhar Swarup and Shri Saptadhan’s Mukharvind will be included in the tenth ride.
Mahadev’s ride will pass through these places
According to tradition, Lord Mahadev will be worshiped at Mahakal Sabha Mandap at 3:30 pm and after this, Baba will board the vehicle and go on a tour of Mahakal city. During this time, a contingent of armed forces will give guard of honor to Baba at the main gate of the temple. It will reach Ramghat via Mahakal Square, Gudri Square, Bakshi Bazaar and Kaharwadi. Where the consecration and worship of God will be done with the water of Shipra river. After this, the ride will again reach Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple via Ramanuj Kot, Modh Ki Dharamshala, Kartik Chowk Khati Temple, Satyanarayan Temple, Dhaba Road, Tanki Square, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Temple, Patni Bazaar and Gudri Bazaar.
