Bhopal – The SPG (Special Protection Group) has taken over the responsibility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security arrangements. SPG officials along with Additional CP Law & Order and Intelligence reviewed the security arrangements on Thursday. Along with this, mock drill was done regarding the parameters of security. Along with this, the PM has given instructions to verify the security personnel. However, security passes have been given to the traffic personnel on Thursday itself.

Police officials said that the CPG was informed about the PM’s route. Told the road map of deployment and security of policemen regarding the route from airport to BU. SPG officers have also discussed with CP Harinarayanchari Mishra. The CP told that the review was done only after getting the information about the PM’s programme. The duty of 25 IPS officers has been imposed in this. Duty of gazetted officers has been imposed at 21 points in the city. The control room and surveillance unit will keep an eye on the PM’s convoy. Intelligence teams have also been alerted in sensitive areas. The SPG has given the green signal regarding the security arrangements of the police. However, instructions have been given to increase security around Rani Kamalpati railway station.

Vande Bharat Express will be flagged off after commander’s conference

On April 1, Prime Minister Modi will reach Bhopal at 09.25 am. They will be involved in different programs for about seven hours. Kushabhau will attend the Combined Commanders Conference-2023 at Thackeray Convention Centre. At 3:15 pm, the Prime Minister will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station. Will leave for Delhi from Bhopal airport at 04.10 pm.

PM Modi’s minute to minute plan

8:05 am- Will leave from Delhi by Airforce aircraft.

Morning 9:25- Will reach at Old State Hangar of Bhopal.

9:30 am – Will leave from State Hangar via helicopter.

9:50 am- Will land on the helipad of Lal Parade Ground.

10:00 am – Kushabhau Thackeray will attend the Combined Commander’s Conference at the Convention Centre.

3:05 pm- Kushabhau Thackeray will leave by car from the auditorium.

3:15 pm – Rani Kamalapati will reach the railway station. Here Vande Bharat will leave the train.

3:35 pm- Will leave from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station by car for the helipad of BU campus.

3:45 pm- Will leave for Bhopal airport by helicopter from BU’s helipad.

4:10 pm- Will leave for Delhi from Bhopal airport.

No flying zone declared

Flying of drones, paragliders, hot balloons, other flight objects has been banned in the area of ​​3 km from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station and Barkatullah University during PM’s programme. The place has been declared as red zone, no flying zone. The order will be effective from 29 March 2023 to 1 April 2023. In case of violation of the order, statutory action will be taken under section 188. Commercial flights will be exempted from compliance of this restrictive order.
