Chief Minister Shivraj Singh said that on my birthday, Minister Bhupendra Singh has given me a unique gift by planting twice as many saplings in 413 urban bodies across the state as on the day of his entire life. My childhood wish has come true. He said that taking a pledge to plant 23 thousand 360 saplings in all the 413 towns of the state on my birthday is a pleasant surprise. But made a record by planting 52,272 saplings twice as much. He said that on my birthday, I had appealed to the people of the state to plant saplings and help the needy people. On his 64th birthday, Chief Minister Chouhan along with Urban Development Minister Singh participated in the plantation program at Shiv Vatika located in Ayodhya Nagar near Kali Bari in BHEL area on the theme of ‘We will count the number of plants we will plant’ on his 64th birthday. . On this occasion, the Chief Minister himself planted a banyan tree. He said that planting saplings in the state in the total number of days of my life so far is a wonderful innovation of plantation. Such initiative of the people of the state for environmental protection will help us in making the state green and handing over a better earth as heritage to the coming generation.
Nothing short of a pleasant surprise for me-
Chief Minister Chouhan said that I did not even know that 23 thousand 360 days have passed in my life. I remembered the year that my 64th birthday was happening, but Bhupendra multiplied it and told that 23 thousand 360 days have passed in my life. The pleasant surprise is that I had decided to plant a sapling daily on 19 February 2021, since then I keep planting not one but three, four or five trees continuously. Chouhan said that I did not plant trees when I used to play in my childhood. Can’t even apply it later. Bhupendra corrected that mistake of mine and got me to plant a rose tree, from the time I was born till now. The Chief Minister said that now the news has come that more than 52 thousand saplings have been planted, it means that in one day it has become two or two. For this they are deeply grateful.
Record made for planting so many saplings on someone’s birthday
Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said that saplings were planted on the appeal of Chief Minister Chouhan, there would probably be a record for planting so many saplings on a single birthday. The responsibility of the care and maintenance of Shiv Vatika developed in the urban bodies of the state will be given to the urban bodies.
