MP POLITICS: Responsibility to seniors, Congress can administer oath to candidates

MP POLITICS:Bhopal. Congress is seeing the possibility of ‘Operation Lotus’ in Madhya Pradesh. This is the reason that even if the Congress government is formed, maintaining it for five years is a big challenge for the Congress. In such a situation, Congress does not want to make any mistakes this time by learning from its past mistakes.

According to the information received, the oath will be administered at the State Congress office in Bhopal on 26th November. Actually, on this day Congress has called all its candidates to Bhopal for vote counting training. It is being told that after the training on the same day, a special oath will be administered. So that after the results are declared, no candidate comes under any kind of temptation on becoming MLA.

Verma’s refusal

Congress Promissory Note Committee Chairman Rajendra Singh has also given information this time. However, there are different views regarding the training and oath of Congress. Former minister Sajjan Singh Verma has denied taking any kind of oath to the candidates during the training.

Senior leaders of Congress will also keep an eye on all the candidates. Division wise responsibility has been given to senior MLAs by Congress. When the Congress government came to power in 2018, there was a lot of discussion about ‘Operation Lotus’. Many Congress MLAs had defected and joined BJP, due to which Congress again lost power. It is said that even the burnt buttermilk of milk is consumed by blowing it. So is Congress really going to administer oath to its candidates? However, from past experience, Congress will not want to take risk this time. It is being told that a special oath will also be administered to the candidates in the training to be held in PCC on 26th November.
