MP GOVERNMENT:Bhopal. The government has once again sent the proposal for the third extension of Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains. If the proposal is approved and the name of senior officer Iqbal Singh is considered, then he will again be the next Chief Secretary of the state.
The tenure of officer Iqbal Singh is ending on 29th November. This is his second extension under which he is providing his services to the state government. Till now Iqbal Singh has got extension twice for 6 months each.

Counting of votes for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections is to take place on December 3, so the question is who will be the next Chief Secretary of MP? The discussion regarding this has once again intensified. Due to the code of conduct, the Election Commission will take a decision on the name of the Chief Secretary.
Madhya Pradesh government has sent a proposal to the Election Commission for the third extension of Iqbal Singh Bains. If the proposal is accepted then Iqbal Singh will be the next Chief Secretary. If the proposal is rejected then a senior IAS officer will be given the responsibility of acting Chief Secretary.
