Bhopal. Targeting an elderly woman in Bairagarh on Monday afternoon, two unidentified youths made her take off her gold jewellery. The accused had promised to give two lakh rupees to the woman. When the woman saw the bundle of notes, she found pieces of paper kept in it. The police have registered a case of cheating and started looking for them.
ASI Praveen Singh told that Dulari Bai Malviya (54), a resident of Bairagarh near Ghobighat, was returning from the bank with a pension of Rs 600 at around 12.30 pm on Monday. Only then two unknown youths were found on Bairagarh main road. The youths entangled him in talks and said that he had two lakh rupees. Keep two lakh rupees instead of your jewellery. One of them gave Dulari Bai a handkerchief full of two lakh rupee notes. By misguiding, the youths got a gold earring, a gold chain and a ring removed from Dulari Bai. The miscreants told Dulari Bai to keep this money and your jewelery in a bag with you. I pick up my friend in the bus to go to Indore. Saying this both left. Even after a long time, when he did not return, the woman was shocked to see the jewelery and notes kept in the bag. Instead of bundles of notes, pieces of paper were found and instead of gold ornaments, pieces of stone were found. ASI Singh says that in the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the scene, the accused have been found. Search is being done on the basis of Hulia.
