Bhopal. Two people attacked a young man with a knife in Vijay Market Barkheda located in Govindpura police station area. The incident is being told on Thursday morning. The seriously injured youth was taken to the hospital for treatment with the help of an ambulance. He has told the names of the two attackers to the doctor. On the complaint of the younger brother of the injured, the police registered a case of attempt to murder against the accused and started searching for them.
According to the police, Khemchand Banjara’s father Motilal (40) lives in Banjara Mohalla, village Jhagriya, Awadhpuri. He is a laborer and used to go to Piplani’s Satnami Nagar Peetha in search of work. Had left the house on Thursday morning too saying to go to work. At around ten in the morning, passers-by informed the ambulance after seeing him in an injured state near Vijay Market Barkheda. Khemchand had deep knife wounds in his stomach. The ambulance that reached the spot took him to Jayaprakash Hospital for treatment, where he was immediately referred to Hamidia. In Hamidia, Khemchand told the doctor that his relatives Gudda and Ishwar had stabbed him. On getting information about the incident, his younger brother Malkhan Banjara also reached the hospital. When the police reached the hospital, Khemchand was not in a position to give a statement. Younger brother Malkhan told the police that the elder brother lives alone and works as a labourer. It is not known how he reached Vijay Market instead of Peetha. The attackers are said to be close to Khemchand.
