Bhopal. In front of the women’s police station on Sunday afternoon, a young man made a fatal attack on his wife with a sickle. Hearing the screams of the wife, the ACP who was walking outside the office ran and saved the woman’s life. The ACP snatched the smile from her and with the help of people took the woman to the hospital. Due to about four attacks on the woman, she has suffered serious injuries. Had the ACP not reached on time, the accused would have killed his wife in anger.
According to the police, Radhabai (36), originally a resident of Bina, lives in the Shivnagar Chhola temple with three children. She works at home. Her husband Rakesh Chandel (38) works in private. The dispute between the two has been going on for some time. Due to the dispute, wife Radhabai is living separately from him since March 14.
Chasing the wife reached the women’s police station
Radhabai reached the police control room Tirahe by TR-1 city bus at around 12 noon on Sunday. After this, the woman was going to the police station while walking. Here, husband Rakesh, who was following from another bus, also reached behind his wife after getting down at the stop. At some distance from the ACP office, Rakesh told his wife that let’s go home, we will sit there and talk. Radha refuses to go with him. On this, the accused took out his sickle and attacked him. Hasiya was placed near Radhabai’s left eye. After this she raised an alarm and the accused attacked her on the neck. However, he stopped both the blows with his hand and was hit by the sickle in his palm and wrist. Jahangirabad ACP Ajay Mishra was standing outside after leaving his office. He had to polish the shoes. When I looked towards the cobbler’s shop, he was not visible. So she went to the tea shop to see him, only then heard the screams of the woman.
Accused stopped on giving voice and caught running
ACP Ajay Mishra told that some people were standing at the tea shop. They were saying that the dispute between husband and wife is going on, it will settle down on its own. Meanwhile heard the scream of the woman. On seeing, it was found that the accused husband was attacking her with a sickle. They ran and called him. He stopped hearing the voice of ACP. After this the SP rescued Hasiya from her and took the woman to the hospital in a private vehicle.
