Bhopal Crime News:A case of cruelty has come to light in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. School van driver kidnapped and raped a 16 year old minor student. The accused kept the girl hostage for 50 days and raped her several times. On the information of the informer, the police freed the girl on Tuesday night and arrested the accused. The matter is of Ahirpura of Jahangirabad police station area of Bhopal.
Whole case: Kidnapped on 26th February
According to the police, the 10th class student, resident of Idgah Hills, studies in a government school in Shahjahanabad area. Accused Abhishek Sarathe (34) is the driver of the school van. The girl used to go to school in his van. On February 26, the student had gone to give the last paper of 10th board. Then Abhishek had kidnapped the student from Shahjahanabad area. The student was kept hostage for 50 days in Ahirpura of Jahangirabad police station area. Accused Abhishek raped the victim several times. On the information of the informer, the police freed the girl on Tuesday night. The accused has been arrested.
This is how the police reached the student
According to the police, the student had come to Center Cambridge School, Lower Idgah Hills to give her paper. The girl did not return home on 26 February after giving her last examination. Till late evening the family members searched the houses of relatives and acquaintances as well as friends. When no information was received, the family lodged a complaint at the police station. The girl’s family had expressed suspicion of kidnapping against the van driver. Police reached the driver’s house to search for the student but could not find her. The driver’s number was also switched off. Police activated informers. On the information of the informer, the police freed the girl from a room in Ahirpura.

During interrogation, the victim girl told the police that the van driver had kidnapped her. In the initial days, he kept roaming outside the city. 50 days ago the accused took a house on rent in Jahangirabad. Here the accused kept the victim with him. He committed atrocities many times on the pretext of getting married when he attains adulthood. After freeing the girl, the police conducted her medical examination, in which after rape was confirmed, sections of POCSO and rape were added.
