Rath Yatra 2023 Accident: A big news is coming out from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra (Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra) is being taken out across the country today i.e. on Tuesday. Today Rath Yatra was being taken out in Hazaribagh also, during this time lightning struck suddenly due to bad weather, 2 people have died due to this. According to media reports, Jagannath Rath Yatra is taken out every year on Ashada Shukla Paksha II at Silwar hill in Hazaribagh. Like every year, this year also a large number of villagers gathered in the event, but during this time there was a hue and cry among the people due to lightning. Let us inform that there was heavy rain in the second half of the journey on Tuesday. People may have got relief from the heat due to rain, but thunderclap turned the celebration of the fair into mourning. It is being told that about 15 people were injured due to the lightning, out of which two people died. Apart from this, the condition of many people is said to be critical, in which case the death toll may increase further.
The death of the grandson of the priest performing the puja
Giving information about the incident, Zonal Officer of Hazaribagh Sadar, Rajesh Kumar said that so far eight people have been injured and two have died officially. One of the deceased has been identified as the grandson of the priest conducting the puja at the temple, while the identity of the other deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Accident during Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad as well
Apart from Hazaribagh, an accident took place during the Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Please tell that the balcony of the third floor fell in Dariapur, Ahmedabad, in which a total of 11 people were injured. This created panic among the people. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. However, it is a matter of pride that there has been no news of any loss of life due to this.
