Jharkhand Education Minister Jagarnath Mahato passed away this morning. He died during treatment in Chennai. He was running ill for a long time. Recently, in view of his health problems, he was airlifted from Paras Hospital in Ranchi to Chennai and admitted to MGM Hospital. He breathed his last this morning during treatment here. There is a wave of mourning in the political field due to the demise of Jagarnath Mahato.
Health worsened after Corona
Two years ago, the Education Minister of Jharkhand was engulfed by the Corona epidemic, after which the infection spread to his lungs. During this, he had a lung transplant at MGM Hospital in Chennai. Also, in the year 2018, Jagarnath also had a heart attack. After this, CM Hemant Soren had also met him in the hospital.

Today Jharkhand has lost one of its great agitators, combative, hardworking and popular leader. May God rest the departed soul in peace and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this difficult time of grief.
BJP leader Babulal Marandi expressed condolences on the demise of the Education Minister and wrote that the very sad news of the death of Jharkhand Government Minister Shri Jagarnath Mahto ji in a hospital in Chennai has come to the fore. He fought the disease like a warrior for a long time. Jagarnath ji’s departure from this world is very sad for the whole of Jharkhand.
