NIA Raids: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided the places of people associated with Pakistani organizations that spread unrest in India through terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. According to media reports, NIA raids are going on at more than 10 places in four districts of North and South Kashmir. Its objective is to end Pakistan’s terror network in the Kashmir Valley. Explain that the NIA investigation is related to the purchase and distribution of large quantities of narcotics, cash, weapons and IEDs.

According to media reports, the NIA has raided 12 places in three districts of South Kashmir, Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian, while raids are on in Bandipora, a district in North Kashmir. During this, many jawans of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF are present. Please tell that in the initial investigation, the agency has recovered some documents. Also, the terror network of Pakistan which provides them local support is also on the radar of NIA.

Many raids before the G-20 meeting

The National Investigation Agency has conducted over 100 raids in connection with the case in several parts of the Kashmir Valley as well as the Jammu region ahead of the G-20 meeting in Srinagar. Due to this, an attempt to disrupt the meeting of terrorist groups based in Pakistan has been foiled. NIA suspects that these groups may also try to spread unrest in India through social media. Explain that the probe agency had arrested Jaish operative Mohammad Ubaid Malik from Kupwara on May 21 on charges of passing secret information to Pakistan-based terror commanders about the movement of security forces in the area.
