According to media reports, on the basis of specific inputs, the police force conducted a search operation in Bijbehara area of Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. In this, during checking, two people were arrested with arms and ammunition. Both of them belong to Lashkar-e-Taiba. Both of them have been identified as Abrar Ul Haq Katu s/o Mushtaq Ahmad Katu and Tauseef Ahmad Bhat s/o Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat. Both of them are residents of Arvani and Shetipora in Bijbehara.

On behalf of the police officials, it was told that 12 AK 47 rounds, a grenade and Rs 1 lakh in cash have been recovered from their possession. Also, he said that an FIR has been registered at Bijbehara Police Station and the matter is being investigated. Information about their purpose is also coming out.
According to media reports, very important information has come out in the interrogation of these two associates by the police. These terrorists were entrusted with the responsibility of carrying out a grenade attack on the security forces before the Amarnath Yatra through social media by a handler sitting in Pakistan.
