Kupwara Encounter: Big information is coming out from Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army and Police conducted a joint operation in Machil Sector of Kupwara district of North Kashmir. During this, two terrorists who had infiltrated were killed. At the same time, a search operation is being carried out by cordoning off the entire area. This information has been shared by Kupwara Police. Two AK-47, four AK Mag, 90 RD, one Pakistani pistol, one pistol and Rs 2,100 in Pakistani currency and other items have been recovered from both the terrorists. Efforts are on to identify them.

Two weeks ago, on September 16, security forces foiled an infiltration attempt in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir and killed three terrorists. Jammu-based Defense PRO Lieutenant Colonel Sunil Bartwal had said that the two terrorists were seen crossing the LoC in the Mandi area of Poonch towards the Indian border on the intervening night of September 5 and 6.
