What did the army say by issuing a statement

In a statement issued by the Indian Army, it was said that the infiltration attempt along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir has been foiled. Also, he said that the infiltration bid was foiled in a joint operation which is still going on. Police also recovered arms and ammunition from the possession of the intruders.

Last week, a terrorist was killed after the army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district. According to media reports, alert troops detected suspicious movement of a group of terrorists along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector last week. The Indian Army was constantly keeping a close watch on these intruders and as soon as they reached near the fence, the exchange of fire started between the army and the terrorists.

One terrorist was gunned down near the Line of Control, while two others were injured and were seen hiding in the jungle. An AK 47 rifle, three AK magazines with 175 rounds, one 9 mm pistol, two magazines with 15 rounds, four hand grenades, communication equipment and a large quantity of eatables and clothes were recovered from them.
