Kulgam Encounter: An encounter had started between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. Meanwhile, security forces have killed three terrorists in the encounter. At present, there is a possibility of two terrorists hiding in the area. Security forces had started the operation on the input of terrorists hiding in Kulgam. The search operation is ongoing by cordoning off the entire area.
Search operation continues
A senior police officer confirmed that three LeT terrorists have been killed, although they have not been identified yet. Meanwhile, the search for others is going on. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition has been recovered from them. Let us tell you that after midnight on Thursday, the security forces surrounded the hideout of the terrorists from all sides and stopped firing from their side and postponed the operation till morning. Two terrorists killed in Uri also
In the encounter, the security forces had surrounded three to five terrorists. Of these, three have been killed and the search for two others is ongoing. To break the siege and escape, the terrorists opened fire on the security forces. Earlier these terrorists were hiding in the same house but later they divided into two groups and were hiding in two houses. At the same time, two terrorists including terrorist launch commander Bashir Ahmed Malik were killed in an encounter near the Line of Control in Uri sector of Baramulla district of North Kashmir. Weapons and Pakistani cash have been recovered from the infiltrating terrorists.
