Jammu and Kashmir: Police and security forces have arrested a terrorist associated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba organization in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have recovered two hand grenades and Rs 40,000 in cash from him. Officials have given this information.
Giving more information in this regard, the police spokesperson said that the police along with the security forces arrested a terrorist associate associated with the banned terrorist organization Lashkar/TRF in Baramulla. Along with this, objectionable material, weapons and ammunition have been recovered from his possession.
Arrest made at Ushkara post
He further said that the arrest was made at Ushkara check post in Baramulla on Tuesday by security forces after receiving information about possible movement of terrorists in the area.

He said that during Naka checking, suspicious movement of a person coming on foot was observed. Seeing the police and security forces, the suspicious person started running away from the spot towards the nearby garden, but the security forces immediately caught him while running away. The captured terrorist was identified as Mudasir Ahmed Bhat, resident of Ushkara. According to police, two hand grenades and Rs 40,000 in cash were recovered from his possession. Police have registered a case in Baramulla. Along with this, the police is interrogating him and trying to gather further information. At the same time, terrorist Mudassar Ahmed Butt, who was caught during interrogation, told that he was earlier working as an overground worker for TRF.
