A fire broke out on Thursday morning at IGMC, the largest government hospital in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Doctors’ offices are located on this floor. According to media reports, the fire broke out due to the explosion of a cylinder in the doctors’ canteen. After the fire incident, an atmosphere of stampede was created in the hospital. The patient and his attendants were seen running away after the incident. On the other hand, the staff of the hospital were busy trying to douse the fire. After this, its information was given to the fire department.

Fire department vehicles reached the spot

Several vehicles have been sent to the spot after a massive fire broke out at IGMC Hospital. Along with this, the road coming from the old building towards IGMC Hospital is damaged, due to which fire brigade vehicles are facing a lot of difficulties to reach the spot. However, the fire brigade personnel have started controlling the fire. No loss of life has been reported so far in the hospital fire.
