The Municipal Police had received information that Jaswant Singh, a resident of Harinagar, committed suicide by hanging himself in his home. Immediately after receiving the information, the police were on site, took the body into custody and handed it over to the relatives after the autopsy. It was said that Jaswant had been suffering from a serious illness for a year and was very upset about it. Police investigator Kushal Pal Rana, who is investigating the case, said the deceased’s relatives learned that he had previously also unsuccessfully attempted suicide. At that time, the family somehow saved him. None of the family members were home today, so Jaswant hanged himself. The matter is currently under investigation.
