As part of the continuous campaign against corruption, ASI Mahendra was arrested red-handed by Palwal District Police Station while accepting bribe of Rs 20,000 from the Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau team.

Giving information on this, the Anti-Corruption Bureau spokesperson said that based on the information, the Anti-Corruption Bureau team laid a trap to catch the accused and managed to catch him red-handed to catch. The complainant demanded a bribe of Rs 20,000 for taking action against the accused ASI Mahendra by removing his name from the FIR lodged at Palwal Town Police Station and car number. Subsequently, based on the complaint received, the anti-corruption bureau team arrested the police officer red-handed while he was taking bribe. This entire operation was carried out impartially and with complete transparency before the witnesses. In this case, a case was filed against the accused at the Faridabad Anti-Corruption Bureau and he was arrested. The investigation will be carried out by the Anti-Corruption Bureau team by collecting all the necessary evidence.
