Sonipat: A woman was brutally murdered over a petty dispute in Gyaspur village under Murthal police station area. As soon as information about the case was received, the police and FSL team arrived at the spot, collected evidence from the crime scene and sent the body to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem. The autopsy of the body will be carried out on Wednesday. Based on the statements of family members, the police registered a murder case against two accused and started investigations.

Shahrukh, a resident of Umedgarh village, said that his sister Gulista got married in Raksheda village. Recently, she was living in a rented house in Giyaspur village. Sister and brother-in-law worked in the same company. He had an argument with two teenagers about seven months ago. A complaint was filed against the defendant on behalf of his sister and brother-in-law. Due to this both of them held enmity. Today he received information that his sister was murdered. He reached the spot and saw that his sister’s neck had been severed with a sharp weapon. His dead body was eaten by animals.

Jaspal Singh, in-charge of Murthal police station, said information was received about the discovery of the body of an unknown woman in Gyaspur village. After receiving information, the police team reached the spot. The investigation revealed that the woman’s upper body had been eaten by animals. She was identified as Gulista, a resident of Umedgarh. Who lived in a rented house in Gyaspur village. A murder case has been registered against two people in this connection. An autopsy of the body will be carried out in the morning.
