Sonipat: The autopsy of Ashwani aka Boxer and Abhishek killed in the attack on Somdutt’s home in Agwanpur village took place on Tuesday. Ashwani’s autopsy was performed at Sonipat Civil Hospital and Abhishek’s at Khanpur Medical Hospital. Although the relatives had previously refused to have his autopsy performed. The deceased’s father, Ashok Kumar, said his sons were beaten to death, but police have not yet opened a case against the accused after taking their statements. After that, the station manager explained Gannaur Ravi Kumar Ashok, whereupon the autopsy of both was carried out. Ashok fears that after his visit to the village, an incident may also happen to his youngest son, Ashish.
Ashwani and Abhishek’s father Ashok Kumar, along with his younger son Ashish, arrived at the Swarg Ashram near the Arjun Gate in Karnal, run by Ramakrishna Sankirtan Mandal, to perform the last rites in separate pyres. He performed the last rites in the presence of the police. Ashwani was put into the fire by his father Ashok and Abhishek by his younger brother Ashish. While mourning after the cremation, his father told Ashok that he had no relation to Karnal. He was also afraid to do the cremation in the village because otherwise he might kill his younger son as well. For this reason, he himself decided to carry out the cremation in Karnal. For this reason, late in the evening, the Gannaur police station took the family members to Karnal in an ambulance that transported the bodies of both brothers.
Father accused many people, including the former Sarpanch, of murder
In a complaint to the police, Ashwani and Abhishek’s father, Ashok, accused several people, including the village’s former sarpanch, of involvement in the killing of his sons. Ashok said that in 2013, Balraj, Dilbagh, Suresh, Madan, Suta and Shivraj, who were sarpanchs in the east of the village, stormed into his house and attacked him, whose case was not recorded. He had submitted his petition to the Chandigarh High Court. His petition was accepted by the Supreme Court on April 24, 2023, after which he threatened to withdraw all cases. For this he had set against himself Ajay, Anand, Jaswant, Somdutt, Simran and Ajay from the village itself. They had earlier attacked a person named Rahul from the village. He then devised a strategy to attack his sons. Ashoka called for action against all of these people and others, accusing them of involvement in the murder of his sons.
Vijaypal’s last rites were performed in the village
Shot dead by Ashwani and Abhishek, Vijaypal was cremated amid a sad atmosphere in the village. Many villagers also participated in the last rites of Vijaypal. After the death of Vijaypal, his family members cry bitterly. At the same time, police personnel were deployed in the village for security.
