Sonipat: Residents will donate to the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Center for use by those in need

Sonipat News: A Triple R center has opened near Mahalana Road at the main intersection of Sector 23 as part of the Triple R program run nationwide by the Urban Local Bodies Department. The center was inaugurated by MLA Surendra Panwar, Mayor Nikhil Madan, Deputy Mayor and entrepreneurs on Monday.

Mayor Nikhil Madan said ordinary citizens can give old clothes, shoes, children’s toys, plastic and electronic items, and old books to those in need at this center. At the same time, the useless items are recycled and turned into useful items. This center will prove very effective in helping the needy in the town and village. In doing so, MLA Surendra Panwar urged people to donate old clothes, shoes, books, toys, plastic items, electronic devices, etc. which are not used in these centers so that they can be useful to the needy people without work. Environmental protection can be promoted through recycling.

On this occasion, Mayor Nikhil Madan presented books and clothes to the needy in the center. On this occasion, Deputy Mayor Manjit Gahlawat, Councilor Neetu Dahiya, Councilor Bijendra Malik, Anil Nagar, Rajesh Dahiya, City Society Purification Inspector Satendra Kumar, Rinku Chikkara, Monu, etc. were present.
