Sirsa: CIA police in Dabwali have arrested four members of a gang involved in robbing pedestrians and carrying weapons. The accused had stopped the police vehicle with the intention of committing a robbery. The police interrogate the arrested defendant.
According to the information, police received information from an informant that some armed youths were planning to rob the vehicles passing under the bridge on Bharatmala Road. As soon as the information came, the police removed the red beacon from the vehicle and also hid her uniform in the vehicle. When the police team reached the designated location, the Esteem driver gave a spoon and signaled to stop the car. As the police slowed the car, a young man came in front of the police car with a wooden stick in his hand. As soon as the police stopped the car, a young man came from the driver’s side with a Khajjar-like weapon and another youth came from the driver’s side with a sword. These youths threatened to take away everything that was there immediately. Then, without giving these youths a chance to recover, the police caught the three youths and also the youth who was traveling in the Esteem car. During interrogation, they were identified as Ajay of Godikan, Jai Singh of Jotanwali village, Balkaran Singh of Sardarpura Fazilka village and Sukhwinder Singh of Dabwali village. When the car was searched, two license plates were found inside. The police have registered a case against the accused in various sections and have initiated investigations.
