Sirsaङ: The accountant of a cotton factory in the city absconded after cheating the factory owner of Rs 2 million. When the factory owner asked the accountant for documents to file the tax return, he came to know about the matter. The accountant had transferred the amount online to his savings account. Based on the complaint, the police filed a complaint against the defendant for embezzlement and initiated an investigation.

Factory operator Ravi Prakash said that he has a Shri Surjaram Cotton Factory on Nohar Road in Ellenabad. Pushkar Dutt, a resident of Badi Mameran village, has been working as a chief accountant at the factory for the last ten years. He also had the factory’s complete accounting books and the net banking passwords. You have accounts at different banks. Pushkar Dutt kept transferring small amounts from bank accounts to his own account. His CA asked Pushkar for documents for filing tax return on September 27, but he did not provide any documents to the CA. At six o’clock that evening, he left the factory after telling Sunil Kumar, another accountant, that he had visited a relative in the hospital. After that, Pushkar’s phone was switched off. He called Jitendra, his uncle’s son, but could not find any clue. The next day when he checked the account, he found that Pushkar had gradually transferred about Rs 2 crore 33 lakh 88 thousand 876 rupees from the company’s account. On the orders of the Superintendent of Police, Ellenabad police registered a cheating case against Pushkar Dutt and initiated investigation.
