News2News.in News Kharkhoda. Some youth associated with Hindu organizations raised the saffron flag at the Sheikhs’ Mosque in Kharkhoda late in the evening of Ram Navami Day. In view of the resulting tensions, a strong police presence was deployed in the mosque and in the city. The Muslim community had informed the police about the incident. Upon receiving the information, Police Commissioner B. Satish Balan said he reached the site and took stock of the situation. In this case, the police arrested five young people and brought them before the court on Friday and took them into custody. 15 to 20 young people are said to have been involved in the said incident. Police have launched a case against the youths for violating religious beliefs.

Station head Sunil Kumar said Naveen Jasrana, Manjit Rohna, Rohit Sisana, Indrajit Rohna and Mohit Kharkhoda were arrested in the case. Arrested Manjit Rohna is a member of Zilla Parishad. Other juveniles involved in the incident are being identified through interrogation of the arrested juveniles. A procession of workers from various Hindu organizations was held on Thursday to commemorate Ram Navami. After that, some youths entered the mosque. Which was rejected by the people present there, then the youths started raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. Meanwhile, some youths in the mosque raised the saffron flag.

As a result, for some time there was a dispute between the people of the Muslim community and the youth. Afterwards, the members of the Muslim community informed the police about the situation by telephone. The police were there and inquired about the incident. Meanwhile, people from the Muslim community began to gather at the mosque. When the atmosphere became tense, a large number of police officers were dispatched there and senior officials were informed of the situation. That night, Police Commissioner B. Satish Balan saw the opportunity and himself ordered the police to create an atmosphere of peace.

The Muslim community prayed peacefully in the mosque on Friday in the presence of the police. As soon as the information about the arrest of the youths in this case was registered, the strong leaders of the BJP reached the police station. ACP Jeet Singh updated BJP leaders on the developments and assured that all actions would be taken within the legal framework. BJP leaders verbally told officials that it started to rain heavily when the procession reached the mosque, so the youths involved in the procession entered the mosque to escape. He definitely had a saffron flag in his hands. ACP Jeet Singh says the footage shows some Hindu youth entering the mosque. The matter is being thoroughly investigated.
