Sonipat: Naib Tehsildar was criticized for registering illegal colonies in Tehsil. The Finance Commissioner of the Treasury took action and removed Naib Tehsildar Shivraj from Gannaur with immediate effect and reassigned him to the Office of the Finance Commissioner at Chandigarh HQ. The Naib Tehsildar is now required to report his presence at the Treasury Commissioner’s Office after reaching the Treasury Commissioner’s Headquarters in Chandigarh.
Three days ago, MLA Nirmal Chaudhary raided the Tehsil and found irregularities in most of the registers prepared by Naib Tehsildar. As a result of the complaint, the Treasury has now removed the Naib Tehsildar from Gannaur and ordered him to be presented at Chandigarh HQ with immediate effect. District Treasury Officer Hariom Attri said that after the complaint was received, the Naib Tehsildar was removed from Gannaur in accordance with the Treasury Department’s Treasury Commissioner’s order. According to the order, the Naib Tehsildar must remain present at the Treasury Commissioner’s office at Chandigarh HQ.
