Rewari: A newly married bride from Tankadi village in Bawal area escaped within three days by jumping over the wall of her house. She also took millions of pounds worth of jewelery with her. The bride running away from home was caught on video surveillance. The victim’s family members filed a police report. The police checked on the bride after a few hours. The police registered a case against the accused woman and began interrogation.

Rajkumar Sharma of Tankadi village in Bawal area married a girl from UP on November 22. This relationship came about through an intermediary. In the complaint filed with the police, Rajkumar said that the family conducted this marriage with great pomp. Her brother and sister-in-law also came with the bride. Both left during the day on November 25th. Afterwards, the bride also managed to escape at 4 a.m. on Saturday by jumping over the wall of the house. When he woke up, he found that she was missing. When he saw the CCTV footage installed in the house, the bride could be seen jumping over the wall and running away. She also took away jewelry and valuables worth thousands of rupees. After receiving information, Bawal police station reached the spot. The police took immediate action and caught the escaping bride from Bhindangi Turn and took her to Bawal police station. The police recorded the statements of both parties and initiated further measures.
