Ambala: Police now have concrete leads in the Ramkumar murder case in Talheri Gujran. Police have recovered the ax used in the murder. The ax was seized from the room of the tubewell constructed in the fields of accused Satish. The police have not yet arrested any accused in this case. On the other hand, the mystery surrounding the death of the accused in this case was also revealed. According to the police, the accused committed suicide not by a heart attack but by hanging. The accused Satish had hanged himself with a rope from a poplar tree in his fields. The place where Satish hanged himself is said to be about an acre away from his tubewell room.

Ramkumar, a 58-year-old man, was killed by being hit on the head with a sharp weapon while he was sleeping in an animal shed in Talhedi Gujran village across the Markanda river. The murder was discovered when late Ramkumar’s wife had gone to the animal stable on Thursday morning. He found Ramkumar unconscious and bleeding on the cot. The doctor then examined Ramkumar and declared him dead. As soon as information about the murder came, Mulana police reached the spot. The crime scene team reached the spot and collected evidence. On the complaint of Ramkumar’s son Rajbir, the police had registered a murder case against three accused. Rajbir’s claim was that Satish of the village, his nephew Mandeep alias Deepa and Satish Kumar’s servant Dara Singh had murdered his father Ramkumar. The defendant had previously consumed alcohol with his father. He was then attacked with an ax and killed. The police are looking for the accused in the case.
