Sonipat: While checking the vehicle, the team from Badi police station caught a private bus that was running without permission. When no documents relating to the bus were found from the bus driver, the police confiscated the bus. The investigation revealed that the bus was being driven with fake license plates from another bus. Following a complaint from the owner of the second bus, the police filed a fraud case against the owner of the confiscated bus.

In the complaint, Harikishan, a resident of Saran village, Faridabad, said that he bought a bus from Deepak Soni, a resident of Baraut. The power of attorney for this bus is in his name while the power of attorney for the bus is in the name of Deepak Soni. He drives this bus in Faridabad. When he went to collect the bus tax, he came to know that a challan of Rs 5,000 was issued for his bus on June 20, a challan of Rs 38,500 was issued in Uttar Pradesh on June 24 and a challan of Rs 18,000 was issued on June 24, 28 June in Bihar. Has happened. While his bus never went to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in this way. When he made inquiries at his level, he found that a challan had been issued to a bus at Badi police station on which the number of his bus was registered. After this information, he reached Badi police station. When Harikishan reached the police station and checked the bus, he found a fake number plate with his bus number written on it. Harikishan alleged that the bus owner committed fraud by making fake number plates of his bus and also issuing challans. Following Harikishan’s complaint, the police filed a case against the bus owner and started searching for him.

The bus had no permit

Senior police station officer Manish Kumar said that the police team stopped a bus while checking the vehicles. The bus driver was not found with the bus documents nor did he have a permit. After an investigation, it was found that the permission was not obtained from the relevant authority because the bus was on time. For this reason, the bus was driven with fake license plates. The police confiscated the bus. Police will soon arrest the owner of the bus.
