Panchkula: Raids were carried out in various locations on the orders of Haryana Interior Minister Anil Vij. Nicotine and various types of banned tobacco have been used in the name of herbal hookah bars. In the past the police have raided such bars from time to time and made many arrests, but later they are again run clandestinely. On behalf of the minister, the state drug inspector intensified the campaign in various districts.
When hookah bars were raided last night, it was confirmed that nicotine was being served in the name of herbal hookahs in many places. During the police raid, the operators were arrested and interrogated several times. At the same time, questions are raised about the role of the Panchkula Sector 5 Police Station. The interior minister says that this matter is also being investigated thoroughly, and the perpetrators are not being spared. In this regard, there were repeated complaints in which nicotine was served to young people in shisha bars.

Interior Minister Anil Vij himself included the health department staff and officials, as well as the state drug inspector and the police. After that, the teams began the raid operation. There was excitement among the hookah bar operators. It is reported that many banned tobacco products and products were confiscated during the raid and some people were also arrested. Along with the Department of Health and the AYUSH Office, the Drug Control Department staff also took part in the raid, during which 4 youths were arrested. Defendants arrested include Hrithik, Naresh, Akash and another.
