Jind: While Junayil was drinking alcohol at the Phag festival in Raghu Nagar, he along with his friend brutally murdered the young man when he pressured his friend to call him uncle and talked about an illicit relationship with his late mother. Sadar police station solved the mystery and arrested both the accused involved in the murder. One of the arrested accused is Junayal. While the second accused was remanded to judicial custody by the court for a day. The police interrogate the accused.
Drink alcohol while sitting in an empty lot
Ajaypal, a resident of Gurudwara Colony, was murdered on the night of March 25 by Junayal, a resident of Bishambhar Nagar, along with his friend Sachin alias Ashu, a resident of Subhash Nagar. Late Ajaypal was friends with Junayal. The police solved the mystery and arrested the accused Sachin. Police interrogation revealed that the deceased and the accused had purchased bottles of alcohol under the contract on the day of the crime. All three sat on a bike in an empty plot some distance from the road in Raghu Nagar and started drinking alcohol. After getting drunk, late Ajaypal asked his Junayal friend to call him uncle. Junayal then asked the reason for being called uncle. Ajaypal told Junayal that he was related to his late mother. Junayal then got angry, picked up a brick lying there and attacked Ajaypal. At the same time, Sachin attacked Ajaypal with his sword due to which Ajaypal died on the spot.
An argument broke out between the three under the influence of alcohol.
DSP Rohtash Dhull said that the deceased had an argument with the accused while he was drinking alcohol. The deceased wanted one of the accused to call him uncle after which he got angry and committed the crime. After the incident, both accused fled. Based on the complaint, the police arrested both defendants. One of the arrested accused is Junayal while the other accused has been remanded in judicial custody by the court for a day. The police are interrogating the accused in the case.
