Gurugram: At around 4:15 p.m., an explosion due to a gas leak occurred at a house in Shanti Kunj Colony in Bhondsi Police Station. Two people, including a child, suffered burns in the incident and were taken to hospital for treatment. As soon as the information came in, fire and police vehicles arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control. There were 35 bottles in the house at the time of the incident. Fortunately, other cylinders were not targeted in this incident, which averted a serious accident.

According to officials, during the course of the investigation it turned out that a number of illegal bottles were installed in the house where the incident took place. In addition, illegal gas filling works were also carried out here, which led to this incident. As soon as the information came in, Food and Supply Administration officials arrived on the scene and confiscated these illegal cylinders. In that incident, alongside 12-year-old Durgesh, 24-year-old Akesh, who was taken to hospital for treatment, also suffered burns.
