Chandigarh: A Haryana cabinet meeting was held, chaired by Prime Minister Manohar Lal, where many important decisions were made. Approval was granted for the Proposal to Amend Haryana Civil Service (Pay) Rules 2016, Haryana Civil Service (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 and Haryana Civil Service (Assured Career Progression) Rules 2016. These rules may be referred to as the Haryana Civil Services (Pay) Amendment Rules, 2023. The 2023 Haryana Civil Service Amendment Rules (Revised Salary) and the 2023 Haryana Civil Service Amendment Rules (Assured Career Advancement) are now effective as of January 1, 2016.
