Young people apply online to Kaithals ITI

Kaithal: Eunuchs, who used to make a living from dancing, have now taken a big step towards self-employment. Now eunuchs are seen taking engineering and non-engineering courses at various ITIs across the state. So far, 48 eunuchs have applied online to the ITI, which is run by the Skills Development and Industrial Training Department. It is clear from this that eunuchs will now take ITI courses and work in various governmental and non-governmental institutions.

It is noteworthy that the government has implemented various programs to bring eunuchs into mainstream society. In addition to the pension, the eunuchs are also granted various types of support from the state. Significantly, eunuchs are seen in society with an inferiority complex. Where some time ago eunuchs were given a good amount at weddings, parties or birthdays, you can now see that a scissor is set in motion even with this amount. The level of respect given to eunuchs at festivals by different villages and khaps has been established. Several cases of altercations between villagers and eunuchs over the level of respect have also been reported. According to statistics from the Department of Skills Development and Industrial Training, 33958 applications have been completed so far. Around 86 percent of these applications come from young people and 16 percent from girls and women.

Kaithal’s ITI was 7th instead of 8th

Kaithal’s ITI, which was eighth two days ago, is now seventh in online applications. Top ten ITIs include Bhiwani, Jind, Hisar, Yamunanagar, Ambala City, Gurugram, Kaithal, Narnaul, Karnal and Palwal.

Applications also on Sunday

Keeping student convenience in mind, help desks at state ITIs remained open for online applications on Saturdays and Sundays. In Kaithal’s ITI, the team of homeroom teachers, Satish Kumar, Randhir Singh, Umesh, etc., filled out the students’ forms online.

The application date can be extended if there are fewer forms

The deadline for online applications has been set for June 21 by the Department of Skills Development and Industrial Training, but so far the number of applications has only reached 33,958. In such a situation, if applications continue to progress slowly in this way, the department may be forced to change the online application date.
