Kaithal: Shiromani Akali Dal Badal’s Haryana unit raised questions about the functioning of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. At the Gurdwara Nem Sahib meeting, chaired by Haryana Pradhan Sharanjit Singh Southa, the Haryana Committee was described as a group of people with conflicting ideologies. The meeting was attended by the main general secretaries of the unit, Sukhbir Singh Mandi, Prithvi Singh Jhabbar, Gurdeep Singh, Kuldeep Singh Cheema, Manvinder Singh Bajwa and Pritam Singh Dhillon.

Akali Dal Badal Haryana President Sharanjit Singh Southa said that the officers and members of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee argue with each other instead of talking about the interests of the state’s Sikhs. Jathedar Baljit Singh Daduwal says that his chief walks apart from everyone else and is drunk. On the other hand, Didar Singh Nalvi’s views are different. Since then, a separate committee has been formed for Haryana. Since then there have been protests in the state, as a result of which Gurudwara’s langar was also discontinued. The BJP only did this for political reasons. Worked first to divide Sikhs in Delhi and now in Haryana. He demanded from the Prime Minister that the committee elections should be held in Haryana at the earliest.

Resisting the broadcasting of Gurbani on various channels

Chief Secretary-General Sukhbir Singh Mandi said that those calling for a separate Haryana Sikh Gurdwara manager committee always said that all the money of the state’s Gurdwara goes to Punjab, but that is not the case. Before the formation of a separate committee for Haryana, the money for the state’s gurudwaras was invested in the state itself. Only the Government of India had the power to set up a separate committee, however the State Government has done so. Even if he wasn’t allowed to. There is great anger in Sikh society towards this government in the state. Very few members of the Sikh community will support the ruling party in the upcoming elections. He protested on behalf of the committee that the program “Gurbani” by Punjab Prime Minister Bhagwant Mann was shown on different channels. He said that the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has already given permission for a channel to do this. This channel is already broadcasting for free. Why did you decide to broadcast on other channels? The committee will soon be convening a meeting on this.
