Jind: Sitting on the stairs outside someone’s house at night and making phone calls proved costly for a young man. The homeowner and his family tied the young man’s hands and legs and beat him mercilessly. Police at Sadar police station in Narwana have lodged a case against four people on the request of the injured youth and initiated investigations.

Aman, a resident of Dharaudi village, said that he sat on the stairs outside Rampal’s house at night and talked on the phone. During this time, members of the Rampal family dragged him into the house, tied his hands and feet with a rope and stuffed a cloth in his mouth. The defendant then beat him brutally. During the fight, his mobile phone and cash worth around Rs 30,000 also fell there. The family members rescued him and took him to the civil hospital. Police at Sadar police station in Narwana have registered a case against Rampal, Abhishek, Rajbir and Kuldeep on Aman’s complaint and have initiated an investigation.
