News2News.in News: Jind. CM Flying ambushed the food depot keeper in Vikas Nagar on Thursday. A review of the grocer’s records revealed an excess of 6 quintals of wheat, 4 quintals of salt and 14 kg of sugar. The city police station is investigating the matter following a complaint from the supply department inspector involved in the team.

CM Flying had received information that Vikas Nagar’s depot operator, Bijender, was snatching the morsels from the poor. By not giving the full amount of the ration to the ration card holders, it runs black market in the market. Based on the information, a guerrilla team was formed, led by CM Flying’s Inspector Rajdeep. This included Sub-Inspector Khushiram from CM Flying and Inspector Subhash from the Food and Supply Department. On Thursday afternoon, CM Flying knocked at the food depot of Vijender, the depot operator of Vikas Nagar. When the team checked the food depot’s records and inventory, they found huge irregularities. About 6 quintals of wheat, about 4 quintals of salt and 14 kg of sugar were found in excess. At the complaint of Inspector Subhash of the Food and Supply Department, the Municipal Police Station is investigating the case against the food depot operator.

CM Flying DSP Ravindra Kumar said that based on information, a raid was conducted on the food depot, which found irregularities in the distribution of the food ration. Police action was recommended against the depot operator. The upcoming action will be carried out by the Food and Accessories Department.
