Jhajjar: Angry over the lack of clues in the disappearance case of a teenage resident of Palda village in the area, the villagers and their family members took to the streets and blocked Jahajgarh Chowk around 12.45 pm on Thursday. This led to traffic delays and pedestrians and drivers had to deal with many problems. When SDM Ravindra Malik and DSP Pradeep Singh received information about the traffic jam, they reached the spot and tried to convince the villagers. But the villagers insisted not to open the jam until the youth was found. After negotiations lasting about an hour and a half, the villagers agreed to open the traffic jam with the assurance of a speedy search for the missing youth, following which traffic was restored and motorists and pedestrians received relief.

According to the information, Ankit, a young man from Palda village, had left his home on Wednesday morning and asked for a walk but did not return home on the second day either. Ankit’s mobile phone was found on the side of JLN which was passing through the area. After the tracks and mobile phone were found at the spot, the family feared that Ankit might have drowned in JLN. For this reason, the family members informed the police about it. The police then called a diving team to search for Ankit on site. But the missing teenager could not be traced. Following this, Ankit’s family members and villagers got angry and blocked the road. Ankit’s family members say that the police are not making adequate efforts to search for Ankit. The water flow of the JLN has not been reduced by the police, nor are divers making any efforts to reach the foothills of the JLN. Because of this, Ankit is becoming increasingly difficult to find. This meant they had to cause a traffic jam.
